It has recently been acknowledged that at least one in five new relationships begins with an online introduction. This demonstrates one aspect of the tremendous changes technology is having on our lives, although this seems only to refer to the way relationships are initiated, not to their actual status. Unless of course, we refer to those relationships that exist entirely online, and though they might be valid and significant, they are not considered here. We’re interested in the best online resources for finding love , and the best way to guarantee a great first date. Of course there really is no guarantees involved with the first date, though there are some ways to up your chances and these include hygiene and appearance preparation as well as actual date planning. Of ours the wheels and tires on your car might play part and it’s always great to have your vehicle washed and maintenance, as well as your home, just in case things should go in that direction.

However, before you race out and buy those new Toyo tires , or spend the weekend cleaning your house, you should first make sure you have a date in the first place. This brings us back to the original topic, which online dating services are the best. And one last thing before we discuss them, it’s important to recognize what’s considered to be the best, and which features you find most important. For instance, is it more important to you to have personality and lifestyle matches? Or are you simply appearance oriented, or income prioritized? The best online dating sites will provide a spectrum of information, as well as photos, for those visually, or shall we say superficially minded, individuals. Perhaps that was an unnecessary slam, as we’re all entitled to our tastes and preferences and romantic connections are frequently dependent on that chemical attraction, which is typically dependent on appearance.

Match dot come is frequently considered to be the best online resource for finding quality dating companions. It’s also one of the most, if not the most, popular online dating site. It’s known for its ease of use as well as the quality and depth of information. E harmony is another quality site, and frequently compared to Match. Many users consider it to be of equal value, though it is oriented toward heterosexuals only, which eliminates it from being the most diverse. Zoosk, Chemistry dot com and Perfect match follow behind the top two indicated. They are quality sites, though less comprehensive and sometimes less user friendly. Other popular sites cater to specific interests and lifestyle elements. Overall all, Match dot com usually rates highest with most users.

It’s important to be very careful when choosing the right car insurance and you can succeed in reducing auto insurance premiums with enough research and effort. If you have a car, and your child has grown to an age to drive your vehicle, you need to make a decision about whether or not to allow your teen to drive your car and whether or not to add him/ her to your car insurance policy. Of course, this is a decision that takes some thought but whether you like it or not, once they have that license your teen will likely not want to wait to get behind the wheel. Well, let’s face it; separate car insurance for your child will be lot more expensive than adding his/ her name to your auto insurance so it’s time to make an adjustment to your current policy.

Second driver insurance will help you protect your car and help give you some piece of mind when it is driven by your child. You will have to add your child to your car insurance policy as well. The great news is that it is not at all expensive to add a second driver to your car insurance. Many parents prefer this method over getting a separate car insurance policy for their child because this can actually be far less expensive in the long run and chances are, you probably already have an ongoing relationship with your current insurance agent. Car insurance companies calculate their rates on the basis of statistics and all new drivers are placed in the high risk category due to their inexperience which can lead to various kinds of injuries or accidents. Often when they are placed on their parent’s policy, the premiums are much cheaper.

Here are some advantages of adding a second driver under your car insurance:

You can save a considerable amount of money by adding your child to your car insurance. Comparatively, you will have to pay a much higher premium if you get them the separate auto insurance because of their inexperience in driving.

When you place your child as your second driver, you will get some discounts and some companies will even offer discounts if your child gets good grades. Nothing like some added incentive to work hard at school!

You will have peace of mind knowing that your child will be protected in case of an accident. You will also be aware of any traffic violations or tickets they may acquire. While this is not totally an “advantage,” this is something that can be explained to your child up front. There’s nothing wrong with giving them a healthy dose of fear!

Aside from this, you should ensure that your child gets the requisite driving instructions. Many insurance companies offer sizeable reductions to teens who take their driving instructions.

If your insurance company is quoting you an exceptionally high premium for adding your child to your car insurance, you should never accept this easily. You can search around on the Internet and you can easily switch to a new and more competitive insurance firm that offers you good rates.

Driving a truck for a living is not all fun and games like many believe; in fact, it can be a very stressing and tiring job. Every day we see news reports and hear about accidents on the highway where trucks and semis are involved. Many of these may have been prevented with a little patience and planning.

1. Regular Maintenance
It is necessary for each truck driver on the road to develop a maintenance schedule for their rigs and to stick to it. Oil changes, hose supervisions, brakes, gear boxes, everything must be in order because if any of these fail while driving at high speed, the result could be disastrous. Regular maintenance is a must not only for truck drivers but for every car on the road.

2. Inspect Before Hitting the Road
Even if your truck or semi is well kept and all its systems are working perfectly, it is important for you to spend a few minutes of time before taking off to walk around it and have a final look before starting the journey. Take a look at the tires, make sure they are in good, if not excellent condition, all the threading must be in place and all of them must have the right pressure. Look at the ground; make sure that there are no oil spills that may have come from a leak in your truck.

3. Check the Load
Supervise the load and make sure it is even, tight and well distributed. Make sure that your truck, dump trailer or semi has been loaded with the legal amount of cargo. An overload may produce a few bucks more but it can also produce a traffic ticket and an accident. Always play it safe, do the right thing. Once you are satisfied with the condition of your load and rig, take it out on the road.

4. Plan Ahead
Plan every detail of your trip, the roads you will take, the rest periods, the meal periods. By doing this you will have an accurate time frame with regards to your time of arrival. Programming your driving time and schedule can help you save time and fuel too so it is a good idea to spend the time to plan properly. Avoid going through cities and towns during rush hour, if it is inevitable, do it but you would gain more if you took a break and rested while you let people get to their jobs and clear the roads.

5. Avoid Drowsiness
When driving at night on the open highway, turn your radio on to your favorite station. Keep your eyes on the road at all times. Since you have planned your trip carefully there will be no need for you to “put the pedal to the metal” so drive within the speed limits and above all, drive defensively, you are not alone on the road. Think ahead; beware of what others do and most of all never drive if you are tired or sleepy.

Summer is here, of this everyone can be sure. It is now the time for road trips and fun in the pool. However, before you get out on the road, there are a few things you might want to check under the hood to make sure that you are safe when you head out on an adventure.

This is a great time to flush your radiator. The fluid inside the radiator will eventually start to break down and can corrode the radiator if it is not flushed regularly. Most recommendations say that you should flush it between every nine to twelve months depending on the car manuals recommendations. Setting a month each year that you will do it usually gives enough leeway to be able to find the time to do it.

Check your tires. In many area summer weather is also rainy weather and that means that you could be driving in the rain. Make sure that your tread is good enough for driving on wet roads. You will also want to make sure that you have enough air in your tires. As it heats up outside, sometimes the pressure inside the tire drops some. If you are road tripping, make sure you check your tires at least once a day because elevation will also affect tire pressure .

Brakes should be inspected twice a year. Most people do it in the winter and the summer. You want to replace these before they get too bad because if you let the brake pads go on too long you will have a much more costly repair on your hands, or worse. This doesn’t just count for the brake pads though. The brake fluid should be checked twice a year as well. To figure out how to do this, look in your repair manuals . This is basic maintenance that few people remember to do.

Check your headlights. Again, summer is rainy season in many places. Summer is also for many people a good time to be out later hanging with friends. If one or both headlights are out that could mean the end of a fun time before you want it to end.

Stay safe this summer and have fun on the road.

This is a question that comes up again and again, on whether or not the size of the tire will actually affect the fuel economy of the vehicle. The short answer seems to be a general no, but this has to be qualified by a number of different factors. The question comes up when people are considering putting larger customized truck wheels on their vehicle. In terms of general cosmetics, these can give a pretty dramatic effect, giving the truck a very distinctive look, and making it somewhat unavoidable to notice. There are many who really like the look, and there’s no doubt that customized wheels in general are a great way to give your truck a face lift.

There are also many different possibilities for your wheels, from black rims, to spinning rims, to 20” rims , and all of these can add very different, and very exciting looks. However, the question about mileage here is an interesting one. There are lots of people who will remember a grandfather’s advice on how a larger tire size can actually increase the gas mileage. From all the arguments about tires and efficiency that are out there, it appears that the tire size won’t, in fact, increase the mileage.

If anything, they might actually hinder it, because a larger size means that the vehicle has to work harder to get it to move. The difference in fuel economy here actually seems to be fairly negligible, however, which means that a cool new look to your truck won’t cost you much at the gas tank. There are plenty of other factors that go into mileage, however, and it seems pretty clear that tires that are properly inflated will perform better overall. The one caveat to all of these arguments, however, concerns those whose driving patterns take them on the freeway for long and constant stretches. If you usually drive long distances at the highway speed limit, then bigger tires won’t work harder once they’re moving, and they need less revolutions to get further. If this is your case, then it will benefit you in terms of economy and efficiency, so grandpa might be right after all!
